Accessibility Statement
Meridian Immigration Law is committed to making this website usable for everyone.
Our Commitment
We want every visitor to be able to find what they need on this site, including people who use assistive technology, people reading on a phone, and people reading in a second language. We work to keep the site accessible and to improve it over time.
Standards We Aim to Meet
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.
What We Do
- Write in plain language, so the content is easier to follow.
- Provide text alternatives for meaningful images and icons.
- Maintain color contrast that meets the AA standard for body and large text.
- Support keyboard navigation, with visible focus states and a skip-to-content link.
- Label all form fields and provide clear, inline validation.
- Make every phone number a tappable link for one-touch calling.
- Build mobile-first, since many visitors reach us first on a phone.
Known Limitations
Some third-party content, such as an embedded map, may not fully meet our accessibility goals. Where that is the case, we provide the same information in another form, such as our address in plain text.
